Walsall's Interim Head Coach Jon Whitney spoke to club journalists ahead of this evening's Sky Bet League 1 clash with near-rivals Shrewsbury Town, and has insisted that he and his squad will fight to the end.
Speaking via Saddlers.co.uk, Jon said; "When you have three games left, every game is a must win. With the defeat at Bradford it's even more important because we have to bounce back. We have to bounce back because suddenly it'll be three points (off Burton) with two left and there will be ups and downs.
"I'm definitely pleased we are playing tonight. It's one of those where you don't want a week after that type of performance. Through adversity, you have the chance to improve and get stronger. I always do, with every bad experience in my life I have got stronger and I will get stronger for this.
"I am not backing down from anything, I will fight to the end and as long as my players are with me we will have a chance."
