Ahead of Saturday afternoon's Sky Bet League 1 defeat to Sheffield United, Walsall's Interim Head Coach Jon Whitney spoke to the local press and discussed his belief that striker Tom Bradshaw has a real chance of being named in the Wales squad at Euro 2016.
Speaking via the Express & Star, Jon said; “I was so pleased to see Tom make his debut for Wales. His family are really proud of him and the staff, the players – everyone at the football club is really proud of him. We have all seen the work he has done since he arrived from Shrewsbury.
“He deserves his rewards and he did well. He has put himself in contention. To see him at the European Championships would mean a great to deal me.”
