City opened the scoring after six minutes of play as veteran striker Deon Burton slotted home. The visiting side's lead was doubled a minute before the break as fellow old-timer Lee Hughes stepped up.
Just as Worcester thought they were heading into the break with a two goal lead, Ferriby were awarded a penalty which Captain Liam King cooly dispatched past goalkeeper Nathan Vaughan.
After the break, Ferriby went on to level the scores with an effort from Danny Clarke. With seventy minutes on the clock Ferriby then took the lead with a strike from Tom Denton.
Ferriby went close to extending their lead as City's resilience was once again tested before Walsall's Jordan Murphy popped up to rescue a point for the Blues with two minutes of normal time remaining.
