Following the news that he'd penned a contract extension that will see him remain at the club until the summer of 2018, Walsall midfielder Liam Kinsella has spoken to club journalists and shared his desire to establish himself in the first-team.
Speaking via Saddlers.co.uk, Liam said; "I’m absolutely buzzing. It’s good to have a bit of stability for the next two years. My aim is to play more games and to establish myself as a first-team player. It’s been hard to get in the side this season with the team doing so well.
“I’ve played a few games and I look back on my goal against Burton as one of the highlights of my career so far.
“I don’t mind where I play and I’m just working really hard in training. When I’m given an opportunity I always try to do my best and hopefully I can play more first-team games over the next two years.”
