Walsall goalkeeper Neil Etheridge has spoken to club journalists following Saturday afternoon's Sky Bet League 1 defeat to Bradford City, and has discussed his desire to bounce back from last weekend's disappointment, as we move on to face near-rivals Shrewsbury Town on Tuesday evening.
Speaking via Saddlers.co.uk, Neil said; “We were obviously very disappointed to lose at Bradford, especially by that scoreline. It was one of the days at the office for them and, unfortunately, one for us to quickly forget.
“We’ve had a lot of games recently and they probably took their toll but we don’t want to search for excuses. We’ve suffered defeats like that before this season but we’ve bounced back and we have to do that again on Tuesday night.
“We need to buck our ideas up and continue what we started before this game. Tuesday is massive now and we’re looking forward to it. It’s at home and we hope that our fans come and support us. We need them as much as we can for the final few games of the season for one last push.
“We’ve turned our home form around in recent weeks and we’ll be hoping to get another home victory.”
