Walsall Vice-Captain Paul Downing has spoken to the local press ahead of this weekend's Sky Bet League 1 clash with Sheffield United, and has discussed the Saddlers' away form, insisting; “Our away form is something we are very proud of."
Speaking via the Express & Star, Paul said; “Our away form is something we are very proud of. We have now got three straight away games starting with Sheffield United.
“When the fixtures come out, that is one of the games you look forward to because it is one of the biggest clubs in the division. It is a highlight. We are looking forward to it. It’s going to be a tough game because they have got some very good players and they still want to gatecrash the play-offs.
“But it will be a nice surface, a good pitch and we are looking forward to taking the game to them.”
