
West Midlands Police's Football Unit have this weekend confirmed that a further four males have been arrested on suspicion of affray following a reported clash between football fans ahead of the Saddlers' League 1 clash with Blackpool, which took place at Banks's Stadium on Saturday, 23rd January.
Speaking via Twitter, WMP confirmed; "On Thursday, officers from West Midlands Police's Football Unit arrested four males for their suspected involvement in disorder prior to Walsall v Blackpool on Saturday, 23rd January.
"The disorder occurred in a busy shopping centre in Walsall. The males have all been bailed. A FBO (Football Banning Order) will prevent you attending any football fixture, or travelling abroad for tournaments."
