Following last weekend's set of fixtures, which saw Walsall score an injury time winner to take all three points against Colchester United, the Football League, with assistance from supporters on social media, have this afternoon named their 'Team of the Week'.
Saddlers defender Matt Preston, who bagged an injury time goal against Colchester United to help the Saddlers secure their third win on the bounce, is among the line-up .
The Football League's Team of the Week update says; "Walsall earned a third straight triumph under Jon Whitney, making a dramatic late comeback to overcome Colchester United. Preston, who came on early in the first half due to an injury, set up Tom Bradshaw to equalise in the 89th minute, and then secured three points by scoring himself deep into stoppage time."
