Ukraine would go on to win the game, which was played at Stadion Chornomorets, by one-goal-to-nil as Shakhtar Donetsk midfielder Taras Stepanenko's goal five minutes before the break saw his side head into Monday's friendly with Tom Bradshaw's Wales, with a win.
