
Walsall Football Club have this evening confirmed that Sky Bet League 2 side Mansfield Town have completed the signing of Saddlers attacker James Baxendale on a permanent basis, following a brief loan spell.
Information released via Saddlers.co.uk confirms; "The 23-year old midfielder has enjoyed a fruitful loan spell with the Stags and will now join the League Two side on a permanent deal.
"Baxendale has appeared five times in Mansfield colours since moving to the One Call Stadium on 7th January on an initial month long loan.
"He marked his debut under Manager Adam Murray with a winning goal against Stevenage and will remain in the East Midlands after signing an 18-month deal.
"The club would like to place on record their thanks to James for his service and wish him all the very best for his time at Mansfield Town."
