Walsall defender Andy Taylor has spoken to club journalists ahead of this weekend's Emirates FA Cup Fourth Round clash with Reading, and has discussed how important a cup run is to him and his teammates.
Speaking via Saddlers.co.uk, Andy said; “We’re all itching to play. We got a good win against Brentford in the last round and it’s another chance to test ourselves against a good Championship club.
“We’ve proven that we can more than match Championship teams so we’ll go there with no fear. We’re on a good run of form so confidence is high and we’ll be going there looking to win the game. It’d be brilliant to get through. Everyone loves cup runs.
“It’s always nice to go on a cup run; it breeds confidence and gives you the opportunity to play against bigger teams and in bigger stadiums. It creates a feel good factor around the club which then helps the league form. We’ll be the underdogs but hopefully we can cause another upset.”
