Walsall Football Club Head Coach Sean O'Driscoll has spoken to the local press ahead of Saturday afternoon's Sky Bet League 1 clash with Rochdale, and has discussed his belief that his team have twenty-three cup finals coming up if they are to keep their promotion push alive.

Speaking via the Express & Star, Sean said; “Every game for us now is a cup final. If we can get that mentality, then we will give ourselves a good chance.

“That will be the approach, not just for Rochdale but for all the games. But it’s Rochdale next and, hopefully that game, will be as entertaining as Peterborough on Monday. Keith Hill is another manager who likes to get the ball down and play, so it’ll be a good contest.

"Promotion is going to be unbelievably difficult with how small the squad is. We lost Paul Downing against Peterborough and you think if another centre half comes off, what happens then? I think we have to be realistic.

“But if somebody could guarantee that all 18 players would be fit until the end of the season then I’d give you a more positive answer.”
