Walsall Head Coach Sean O'Driscoll has spoken to the local press ahead of this weekend's Emirates FA Cup Fourth Round clash with Reading, and has backed attacking midfielder Romaine Sawyers to get back to scoring ways, along with praising the St Kitts and Nevis International for his solid performances.
Speaking via the Express & Star, Sean said; “It’s the second half of the season and it’s no longer a case of little old Walsall. Romaine is now gaining a reputation for his performances. Nobody is going to make it easy for him and it’s up to him to step up to it.
“He is a bit of catalyst for our forward play; he makes things happen for us. But he is always delighted if other people score and he’s involved. I don’t think he should get het up about it (his goal tally). But if he gets into good positions we will be encouraging him to shoot.”
