Earlier today Walsall Football Club travelled to the Madejski Stadium to take on Reading in the Fourth Round of the Emirates FA Cup. During the match, which Walsall lost by four-goals-to-nil, goalkeeper Neil Etheridge was forced off with what at the time looked like a bad injury.
Following the match, Walsall Head Coach spoke to the press and confirmed that Neil had not suffered any structural damage but did require stitches on two cuts following an in-game collision.
A short while after O'Driscoll's update Neil took to Twitter to confirm his injury thank the travelling support, he said; "Stitches in 8 and 4 in the bottom! Bad result but thank you to all the supporters that came to watch up!"
