Walsall Head Coach Sean O'Driscoll has spoken to the local press ahead of this weekend's Sky Bet League 1 clash with Rochdale, and has revealed that he is currently in talks with Manchester City over an extension of George Evans' loan deal.
Speaking via the Express & Star, Sean said; "In terms of Evans, I have spoken to Man City. George is enjoying his football, but he's out of contract at Man City at the end of the season and that situation needs to be settled.
“If it was up to George I think he would stay here, but there are agents. His loan is up on January 9, so it’s something we need to look at.
"A decision has to be made because it would be unfair on us as a club to leave it until the last minute and George. too. needs to know where he stands.”
