Former Walsall defender Chris Marsh has spoken to the local press and discussed his belief that the club should seek to appoint fellow Walsall alumni Adrian Viveash into the vacant manager's position.
Speaking via the Express & Star, Chris said; “If I was choosing the new manager, it would be Adi all the way. Whether he would leave his job at Chelsea, I suppose that is the big question.
“But he was a good player for Walsall and very popular with the fans. I think he would be the ideal candidate. He’s done a great job at every level he’s been. That shows what a good coach he is.”
