Walsall winger Anthony Forde has spoken to club journalists ahead of Tuesday evening's Emirates FA Cup Second Round Replay with Chesterfield, and has discussed his desire to take on Dean Smith's Brentford in the Third Round.
Speaking via Saddlers.co.uk, Anthony said; “We really want to get through because Brentford away in the next round could be a really good game. The circumstances because of the old gaffer and Richard O’Kelly going to Brentford makes it a bit more special. It would be weird and I think everybody would like it to happen.”
When asked about Tuesday's Replay with Chesterfield, Anthony insisted it will be a tough test, he said; “They’re are a decent team and it’ll be a tough game again. A 1-1 draw was a fair result last time but they beat us at the Banks’s earlier in the season in a game we probably should have won. But hopefully we’ll be better this time and get the win.”
