Walsall manager Dean Smith has spoken to the local press ahead of this afternoon's Emirates FA Cup First Round clash with Fleetwood Town, and has urged winger Kieron Morris to find his form and force his way into the first-team.
Speaking via the Express & Star, Smith said; “I was really pleased Kieron got that goal – he deserved it to be honest. He did ever so well when he came on at Colchester the week before and we got another really good performance out of him.
“Kieron knows the big thing he needs to bring to his game is consistency. He needs to get more goals and more assists. It’s just consistency, that is the only thing that is missing.
“He’s such a talent because he creates a lot of chances for himself and he is unlucky to get to this stage of the season with only one goal. He has been close a number of times but he is a really good finisher and I do expect him to get more goals.”
