Walsall Football Club have announced that they and Barclays Premier League side Manchester City have come to terms on a loan extension for midfielder George Evans, who has enjoyed a successful month since arriving at the Banks's Stadium in October.
Born in Cheadle, Greater Manchester, George, who will remain at Banks's Stadium until 9th January 2016, joined the Citizens aged just six, and rose through the ranks to agree pro terms in 2013.
Before joining the Saddlers, he enjoyed loan spells with Crewe Alexandra and Scunthorpe United, making over thirty appearances during the two spells.
George joined Walsall on an initial one-month loan on 20th October, and would go on to mark his debut with a goal later that same day, as the Saddlers defeated Barnsley by two-goals-to-one at Oakwell.
George has gone on to score a total of three goals for the Saddlers, making seven appearances in the process.
