On Saturday afternoon, Walsall Football Club played host to top-of-the-table Burton Albion in the latest Sky Bet League 1 fixture of the season.
The Saddlers went into the game in second place having won six of their opening eleven league games, and emerged victorious thanks to goals from a first-half Liam Kinsella strike, and a Tom Bradshaw penalty in second half stoppage time.
Kinsella's goal, which was created by some fine play from the constantly improving Rico Henry and Romaine Sawyers, means he has now equalled his father Mark's tally of one league goal for the Saddlers, in a thankfully much smaller timeframe.
Mark, who joined the Reds from West Bromwich Albion in the summer of 2004, went on to grab just one goal in forty-three league games, while Liam has now opened his goalscoring account after just five league appearances.
Along with his goal, Liam had added to manager Dean Smith's selection issues as he has yet another name to consider for a starting place as the 2015/16 Sky Bet League 1 season continues.
