Walsall manager Dean Smith has spoken to the club's official website and discussed his delight at the news that left-back Rico Henry has penned a new deal with the Banks's Stadium club.
Speaking to Saddlers.co.uk, Smith said; "We’re really pleased he’s signed a new deal. He’s a good young player for us and we felt he’d earned the right to a new contract.
“We agreed a deal with Rico and he’s signed a new contract for this year and another two. It’s really good news for the football club and hopefully he can continue his fine development.”
