Earlier today Walsall Football Club have today confirmed that manager Dean Smith had put pen-to-paper on a new twelve-month rolling contract, following the reveal, Smith spoke to club journalists and expressed his delight at agreeing new terms.
Speaking via Saddlers.co.uk, Smith said; “I’m really pleased to have signed a new deal. My current deal was up at the end of the season so I’m glad it’s been sorted. I’m happy with how we are developing as a club. Now I’m looking forward to continuing the progress we’ve made.”
