Walsall attacker Jordan Cook has spoken to the club's official website and insisted that despite his preference for playing through the middle, behind the forward, he is happy to take a role out wide to help the cause.
Speaking via Saddlers.co.uk, Jordan said; “I want to be up front and off the striker as I believe I’m more effective when I play through the middle than out wide.
“But if the gaffer wants me to do a job out wide, then I’ll play there and do my best for the team. He knows what I can do and what I bring to the team, and I’m prepared to play in different positions for him.
“I want to get goals and assists but most of all I want to help the team win games. If that means playing out wide and doing a job in the last 20 minutes then I don’t mind.”
