The Walsall Football Supporters' Trust have revealed that their wristbands, which were commissioned in memory of Walsall supporter Joel Richards, who was murdered alongside his Uncle Adrian Evans and Grandfather Charles 'Patrick' Evans in the Tunisian holiday resort of Sousse, have so far raised over £1,400 for the 'Smile for Joel' fundraising drive.
A 'Smile for Joel' GoFundMe (http://www.gofundme.com/joelrichards) account was set up by a group of Joel's friends, and has already raised over £13,000 for his family, to cover the many costs associated with the loss of a loved one.
Many 'Smile for Joel' events have already taken place, including music events, football matches, and golf tournaments with several others planned.
