Following Tuesday evening's closure of the Summer Transfer Window, Walsall manager Dean Smith spoke to the local press and insisted that he was never concerned about the future of striker Tom Bradshaw, revealing his novel way of dealing with potential outgoings.
Speaking to the Express & Star, Smith said; “I’m only ever concerned when the chief executive rings me, but now I just don’t answer. Tom is happy at the football club and we are pleased to have got through the window. Now we can concentrate on what we have been doing which is putting in good performances.”
