Walsall central defender James O'Connor has spoken to the club's official website ahead of Saturday's Sky Bet League 1 clash with manager-less Doncaster Rovers, and has insisted that the Saddlers must be ruthless and kick teams while they're down.
Speaking to Saddlers.co.uk, he said; “I haven’t seen much of Doncaster this year, but they’re probably one of the bigger clubs in this division and are expected to be up there.
“I can’t really comment on the situation with their manager because I haven’t seen much of them. You sometimes get a reaction (with a change of manager). We know they’re going to come out and try to get a reaction, but we’ll be ready for it.
"We’ve spoken a few times this season about being ruthless and kicking teams when they’re down, and it might be a similar scenario on Saturday. But we’ll be approaching the game like we do every game.”
