The Advertiser states; "Town are known to be in the market for a striker on transfer deadline day, but a move for long-term target Tom Bradshaw also looks to have failed.
"The club are thought to have made several more bids for the 23-year-old since having a bid in the region of £300,000 turned down at the beginning of August.
"The former Wales under 21 international, who netted 20 times in all competitions last season, has been a main target for chairman Lee Power.
"However, the Adver understand that a deal is not likely to happen before the window closes at 6pm."
