Walsall striker Tom Bradshaw has spoken to the local press following Saturday's Sky Bet League 1 victory over Doncaster Rovers, and has discussed his two goal haul, insisting that they were the best goals of his career.
Speaking to the Express & Star, Tom said; “They have to be up there. My first goal on my debut for Shrewsbury, that’s up there, but in terms of finishing I think those are the best two finishes I’ve done in my career.
“Most importantly, they won us the game and ensured I didn’t go five games without a goal. I wouldn’t say it plays on your mind but I’ve got quite high standards and if I go a couple of games without a goal I get on at myself.
“So does my dad and my uncle, they won’t let me forget it. So around 80 minutes I was thinking five games without a goal is not great. Luckily I managed to get two.”
