Later today Walsall Football Club's Under 18s side play host to Shrewsbury Town Under 18s in the latest Football League Youth Alliance (North West) fixture of the season.
Walsall are undefeated so far this season, having defeated Accrington Stanley on the opening day of the campaign, and following that up with a nil-nil draw with Preston North End last weekend, a match that the Saddlers were unlucky not to win.
The young Shrews, who won their opening two games of the season, arrive at the match on the back of a mid-week defeat to Carlisle United, they went down by two-goals-to-nil during a competitive clash which sees them drop to second in the table on goal difference.
The match, which will take place at the Birmingham County Football Association's Headquarters on Ray Hall Lane, will kick off at around 11:00am.
