According to official Football League statistics, Walsall Football Club was the eighteenth most followed team in Sky Bet League 1 during 2014/15.
The Saddlers took an average of 412 fans with them on awaydays, putting them fifty-fifth in the Football League's seventy-two.
The statistics show that Walsall had seen their away attendances steadily climb over recent years, but saw them fall 16% from 490 during 2013/14 to 412 last season.
Much of the loss can be attributed to the promotion of local rivals Wolverhampton Wanderers during 2013/14.
With near-rivals Shrewsbury Town returning to the same level as the Saddlers, along with possible away trips to Blackpool, Millwall and Wigan Athletic, the number should increase again this term.
