With the 2015/16 Sky Bet League 1 season just around the corner, Walsall manager Dean Smith has spoken to the local press and discussed former Saddlers trialist Zac Thompson, revealing that the midfielder is now on trial elsewhere.
Speaking to the Express & Star, Smith said; “I’ve heard Zac is on trial somewhere else. It was a short-term deal that was offered because I think there were too many question marks to offer him a long-term deal.”
