Saddlers winger Milan Lalkovič has spoken to the local press ahead of this weekend's Sky Bet League 1 trip to Blackpool, and has insisted that Walsall is the right club for him.
Speaking to the Walsall Advertiser, Milan said; "Of course, I have ambitions but at the moment, at this stage of my career, I think this is a club which will help me and I will help the club as well to get better - hopefully together.
"The manager trusts me, I worked under him before and I really enjoyed it. The fans too I have a really good relationship with. At this point of my career Walsall is the place to be.
"If we can get up to the Championship together, then fantastic. If I do well and someone sees me, ok, though I'm not looking at it like that. I am here and looking forward with Walsall, that is my main aim.
"Every player has a manager who trusts him and the people you work under and you enjoy your football. I think these are the two for me. They speak to you and let me express myself, to do what I can do in the final third. To be creative.
"On Saturday against Coventry there were moments when I was losing the ball in our half which I need to cut from my game but I am doing it less and less. They are improving me. When you have someone who trusts in you and believes in you, then you are going to enjoy your football."
