Walsall left-back Andy Taylor is understood to have picked up a knock during the Saddlers' season-opening Sky Bet League 1 draw with Oldham Athletic.
The 29-year-old has not been named among the side to take on Nottingham Forest in Round 1 of the Capital One Cup but is expected to be fit for next weekend's league trip to Southend United.
Ahead of this evening's match, Andy took to Twitter and confirmed his injury;
Gutted not to have been fit for forest 2nite! Should be fighting fit for the wknd though. Come on lads, i fancy us to cause an upset.
