Walsall Football Club have today released a statement regarding the poor supply of the club's 2015/16 kits and training wear, which are provided by JD Sports under their Carbrini brand.

In a statement released via Saddlers.co.uk, the club have said; "JD Sports have supplied Walsall Football Club with our playing and replica kit for the past three seasons. The deliveries and quality of product have been excellent and proved extremely popular with our supporters.

"Unfortunately, due to circumstances beyond the control of Walsall Football Club, this has, as yet, not been the case for the new campaign and the club are still awaiting delivery of the complete order placed.

"The 2015/16 replica and playing kit, and training wear, was ordered by Walsall FC in October 2014 with complete delivery and launch scheduled for May 2015. The home kit was launched on 19th May and a proportion of the kit ordered was delivered into store. The club are awaiting the remainder of the order and it is estimated to arrive ahead of our home fixture with Coventry City on 22nd August.

"The away kit, which was also ordered in October 2014, arrived in store on Saturday, 25th July. This kit is also proving popular.

"We have been assured by our supplier that they are working tirelessly and exploring all options in a bid to have the remainder of our order available by 22nd August.

"We would like to thank the fans for their patience on this matter."
