Ahead of this evening's Capital One Cup Round 2 tie between the Saddlers and Brighton and Hove Albion, Seagulls boss Chris Hughton has spoken to his club's official website, and insisted that Dean Smith's Walsall will be no pushovers.
Speaking to Seagulls.co.uk, Chris said; “It’s going to be a very tough game. In the last round of fixtures I think at least eight Championship teams went out of the competition.
“It’s an indication of how tough every one of these games is and we needed a last-minute winner at Southend to come to this stage.
“They’ve got a manager who’s done a great job there over the years and they’re playing a very exciting brand of football.
“It’s a tight arena, a good pitch. They’ll want to play and want to do well, so I would expect a difficult game.”
