Walsall Football Club's first-team squad, including new signing Jason Demetriou, will return to training later today, after a brief summer break.
The majority of the squad have been following training regimes designed by Head Physio Jon Whitney and Strength and Conditioning coach Dean Harris, which are aimed at helping the squad returning to action with relative ease.
Last season's top-scorer Tom Bradshaw, who saw his twenty-goal season blighted by several hamstring injuries, has been working with Loughborough University, whilst Sam Mantom, who missed the vast majority of 2014/15 with a knee injury, has been attending the gym, along with his regular visits to the golf course, both are expected to be able to return to training straight away.
Young goalkeeper Liam Roberts, who recently penned a new deal with the club, suffered a broken collarbone towards the end of his loan spell with Gresley but is expected to be fit and is likely to return to the Moatmen in the very near future.
Also among the returnees is former Saddler Aaron Williams, who was invited to train with the team following a fantastic goal-scoring season for local side Rushall Olympic.
