Earlier today Walsall Football Club played host to Wolverhampton Wanderers in a 'behind closed doors' pre-season friendly, which was held at the Saddlers' Essington Training Ground.
The game, which was played in three periods of 30 minutes, was largely considered to be a fitness exercise ahead of the 2015/16 campaign.
It was Wolves who ran out victorious by three goals to the Saddlers' two. ARajiv van La Parra brace put the visitors ahead before Jordan Cook found the net with a tremendous strike straight from the kick-off at the start of the second thirty minute period.
His strike was followed up by midfielder Reece Flanagan, who also notched a superb individual goal later in the second period to put the Saddlers level.
Young Wolves defender Sylvain Deslandes was on hand to score the winner later in the game, a good competitive match heading into the coming campaign.
