Former Walsall striker Aaron Williams, who recently signed for Vanarama National League North side Nuneaton Town, has spoken to the local press to thank the club for his brief return, and wished them well for the coming campaign.
Speaking to Michael Beardmore of the Walsall Advertiser, Aaron, who trained with the Saddlers squad following a thirty-eight goal season with Rushall Olympic, said; "I really enjoyed my time training at Walsall and it definitely benefited my fitness but they had a lot of strikers there. They probably had five forwards and I know Dean Smith is looking for a sixth.
"At the back of my mind, I was hoping to earn a deal there but I'm a young lad who wants to play games so I thought it was best to look elsewhere. There are some really top players at Walsall and I can see them doing well next season."
