Walsall Football Club have completed the signing of former Fulham, Oldham Athletic and Charlton Athletic goalkeeper Neil Etheridge, who was released by the Addicks at the end of last season.
25-year-old Etheridge, who has penned a two-year deal, began his career as an apprentice with both Chelsea and Fulham, and would go on to sign pro-terms with the Craven Cottage outfit in 2008.
The Philippines international failed to make an appearance for Fulham, but did enjoy loan spells with Leatherhead, Charlton Athletic, Bristol Rovers and Crewe Alexandra before joining Oldham on a permanent basis in 2014.
Neil again failed to appear for his parent club but did make two loan appearances for Charlton, whom he would also join on a short-term deal in 2015, after being released mid-way through his Oldham deal.
He was released at the end of last season and becomes Walsall's second signing of the summer.
