In addition to the earlier news that Leeds United and Celtic have expressed an interest in signing Manchester City striker Jordy Hiwula, it is now being reported that Blackburn Rovers and Bolton Wanderers have joined in the race for the Manchester-born front-man.

Hiwula, who enjoyed a nine-goal loan spell with Walsall last season, looks set to depart the Etihad Stadium after many years within the club's youth and reserve sides.

Bolton Wanderers manager Neil Lennon, and Blackburn Rovers boss Gary Bowyer are both said to be keen to snap up the 20-year-old forward, who is available for a nominal fee, said to be in the region of £500,000, with City seemingly deciding against loaning him out once again.

Huddersfield Town and Walsall are also said to be keen on his signature, giving him quite the decision to make heading into the 2015/16 campaign.
