The Football League have this morning released the fixtures for the 2015/16 campaign, which gets underway on Saturday, 8th August, with the Premier League kicking off on the same day due to next summer's European Championships.
Walsall open the 2015/16 campaign at home to Oldham Athletic on Saturday, 8th August, before an away trip to Southend United on Saturday, 15th. The Saddlers' third league fixture is away to Rochdale.
Walsall will travel to Blackpool on August Bank Holiday and Millwall on Boxing Day before hosting Peterborough on December 28 and then Rochdale on January 2.
Gillingham’s Priestfield Stadium will be the furthest journey with Saddlers fans facing a 326 mile round trip to Kent on March 26.
The shortest journey of the new season will be to Shrewsbury on November 14, whose Greenhous Meadow stadium is 37 miles away from the Banks's.
The Saddlers have a tough run-in, Swindon will visit the West Midlands on April 19 before an away game at Bradford.
The Saddlers will end the season away to near-rivals Port Vale.
