Walsall Football Club have this afternoon been linked with a move for former Northampton Town and Norwich City goalkeeper Mark Bunn, who has revealed that he will be taking part in a medical with his new club on Monday.
30-year-old, Camden-born Bunn is a product of both the Tottenham Hotspur and Northampton Town youth systems and went on to sign pro terms with the Cobblers in 2001.
He made almost one-hundred first-team appearances for Northampton and enjoyed a loan spell with Kettering Town before joining Blackburn Rovers in 2008.
Over the next four years he made under ten appearances for Rovers, but did have loan spells with Leicester City and Sheffield United where he made around thirty-five appearances.
He joined Norwich City for an undisclosed fee in 2012 and made his debut in the League Cup a few weeks later.
Mark, who was released at the end of the most recent campaign, has made just twenty-three league appearances since 2012 and has had to make do with a place on the bench or in the reserves.
Bristol City and Coventry City are also believed to be interested in the stoppers' signature.
