Walsall manager Dean Smith has spoken to the press and reiterated that he fully expects the Chambers twins to pen new deals with the club when they meet up next week.
Speaking to the Express & Star, Smith said; "There is nothing sinister in the Chambers situation. I offered them both new contracts but they were taking their mum to Hawaii.
“They then got back while I was away, so it’s just been a case that we have missed each other. I’m hoping it will all be sorted by the early part of this week.”
