Sky Bet Championship outfit Middlesbrough have today confirmed another member of their 'Released and Retained' list ahead of the 2015/16 campaign, joining midfielder Dean Whitehead and defender Jonathan Woodgate is none other than former Walsall winger Emmanuel Ledesma.
The 27-year-old attacking midfielder, who was dubbed the 'Black Country Messi' during his time at the Banks's Stadium, hasn’t been offered a new deal by the club and he is now free to move on to pastures new.
Ledesma made 64 appearances for Boro after joining from the Saddlers in the summer of 2012.
He made just two appearances for the Boro last season – his final one coming against Blackpool in September – and he also had loan spells at Rotherham United and Brighton and Hove Albion.
