Earlier today Walsall midfielder Liam Kinsella put pen-to-paper on a new two-year contract at Banks's Stadium.
Following the publication of the news, Walsall manager Dean Smith spoke to the club's official website to pay tribute to Liam and discuss his delight at the new deal.
Speaking to Saddlers.co.uk, Smith said; “Liam is an exceptional talent. Like Rico Henry, I can see him really pushing on and becoming some player.
“He has energy and enthusiasm is abundance; he was given a taste of first-team action and did extremely well.
“Even though he was playing in his less favoured position of right-back rather than midfield, he let no-one down and even put in some Man of the Match performances.
“I am looking forward to his development and I am delighted that he has signed this two-year deal with the club.”
