Football League sponsors Sky Bet have released their first set of odds for the 2015/16 Sky Bet League 1 campaign, and they make Walsall 33/1 to win the title, with the Saddlers expected to struggle in the bottom half of the table for another season.
Manager-less Sheffield United are unsurprisingly favourites for the division, and are rated as 7/1 shots to be entering the Championship in twelve months time.
Recently relegated Millwall are 8/1, and Blackpool are 40/1, whilst Richard O'Donnell's Wigan Athletic are 9/1 with the Latics currently expected to capture a Play Off place along with Peterborough United (10/1), Bradford City (14/1) and last season's defeated Play Off finalists, Swindon Town (12/1).
Crewe Alexandra are currently favourites to be relegated with title odds of 66/1, they are expected to be joined in League 2 by Colchester United (50/1), Port Vale (40/1) and the aforementioned Blackpool.
Of the sides promoted from League 2, it's near-rivals Shrewsbury Town who are expected to fare the best, with the Shrews 14/1 to left the trophy a the end of the season, whilst League 2 champions Burton Albion are favoured for a mid-table finish (18/1), third placed Bury and Play Off winners Southend United join Walsall with title odds of 33/1.
