Huddersfield Town have today revealed their released and retained list ahead of the summer break.

Amongst the players to be released is former Walsall defender Anthony Gerrard.

29-year-old Huyton-born Gerrard was a product of the Everton youth system and had loan spells with Accrington Stanley and Walsall before joining the Saddlers on a permanent basis in the summer of 2005.

Anthony played in over 150 games before joining Cardiff City in the summer of 2009.

He went on to make almost sixty league appearances for Cardiff and over forty whilst on loan with Hull City.

Anthony joined Huddersfield Town in 2012 and made over eighty league appearances and enjoyed a loan spell with Oldham Athletic.

Jonathan Stead, Martin Paterson, Jake Carroll and Daniel Carr have also been released by the Terriers.
