Walsall Football Club have today announced that young up-and-coming striker Amadou Bakayoko has put pen-to-paper on a new contract with the club.
The powerful 19 year-old continued his development during 2014/15 with a handful of appearances off the substitutes’ bench as well as a loan spell with Vanarama Conference outfit, Southport.
Bakayoko was born in Sierra Leone, but grew up in Holland. He was spotted by The Saddlers and brought into our youth team, where he became a regular on the scoresheet.
Having continued to impress at reserve team level, he was handed his senior debut at Port Vale in April 2014.
