Soon-to-be released Walsall Football Club defender Malvind Benning, who today, along with Ben Purkiss, Ashley Grimes and Jake Heath learnt that the club will not renew his contract at the end of the season, has this evening taken to Instagram to thank the club for giving him his first chance at pro football..
Speaking via Instagram, Mal said; "(My) Time at Walsall FC has come to an end after soo many years!
"There has been many ups and downs and I suppose it wasn't meant to be, but it was a good club to be at, and whatever the future may hold for me whether it be in football or not, I couldn't thank Walsall more for the opportunity to play professional football."
