The Walsall Football Supporters' Trust have revealed that they have once again organised a Walsall Legends match in order to raise money for another great cause.
The match, which will be against and in aid of Fastaid - Community First Responders, is due to take place at Red Star Park, Middlemore Lane, Aldridge (WS9 8DN), on Sunday, 17th May.
The Walsall squad will include several former stars, including, amongst others, Ian Roper, Paul Jones, Kris Taylor, Brian Palgrave, Mark Taylor, and Raj Gill along with members of the Walsall Football Supporters' Trust's own team.
Community First Responders (CFR’s) are volunteers, who respond to emergency 999 calls for the ambulance service. They are trained to a nationally recognised level by the ambulance service and deliver basic life support and defibrillation to patients in cardiac arrest. As well as other treatment including oxygen administration for various emergency situations prior to the arrival of the nearest available ambulance resource.
